XUK Residential camp 2010
XUK offers multi-activities for boys and girls from 6 – 17 years old. Children and teens spend between one and four weeks of their summer holidays at XUK, joining one of our three groups - Juniors, Intermediates or Teens.
Staying in the beautiful grounds of the New Eccles Hall School, your
child will enjoy a range of adventurous, creative and lively activities
as well as ‘off-site’ visits to Cambridge or Bury St. Edmonds. Our ‘optional
extras’ allow each family to tailor make their camp experience with their
choice of activities!
An enthusiastic and dynamic staff team makes XUK an exceptional
summer residential holiday camp. With a constant flow of innovative
ideas and strong sense of fun they make sure each child and every teen
has the best summer holiday ever!
Here are a few reasons why we believe we are the best camp in the UK:
- Our last OFSTED inspection at XUK rated us as an 'outstanding'
provider.
- We promote healthy eating and choice. Breakfast options include continental and traditional cooked. Lunch and dinner always include: A wholesome main meal, a vegetarian main meal option, salad/pasta bar, tasty dessert & fresh fruit.
- Every child coming to camp can choose with whom they’d like to share a dormitory. Many of our children at camp come alone, so we make a special effort to make sure we put each individual in a friendly and fun dorm with similar aged children.
- Every week, our staff vote for the camper who embodies everything we love about XUK. The ‘Citizen of the Week’ will be helpful, fun, caring and enthusiastic all week long. And you’ll love it if your child wins because we’ll invite them back to camp next year for one week free of charge!

- There are a number of options for your and your children to get to camp. These are designed with you and flexibility in mind!
If you are from abroad, we understand why you are sending your child
or teen to XUK. You want them to have fun and be safe in a different country,
experiencing different activities and tasting the English culture. You
may also want them to improve their English. We have
considerable experience hosting children from abroad. In the past few
years we have concentrated in making XUK an international brand and this
culminates in having a diverse XUK where children can meet those from
different areas and backgrounds.
MINI MINORS & XUK DAY CAMPS
We believe Mini Minors & XUK are the best run and most exciting
activity day camp in North London.

an outstanding Scheme.
- We start from children as young as 3 and go up to 13.
- We maintain a fun, caring and friendly atmosphere in everything
we do.

your child.

- The management and the rest of the staff team are always willing
to chat and listen to the needs of you and your child.

and enthral your child.

up to 2 friends’ names when you book.

- In summer we have fun swims for children age
5 and over. For all our children there is also an option of a
swim course that takes place each afternoon and helps teach and
improve each Childs swimming.
- OFSTED outstanding Play scheme
- At our XUK day camp, 7-13s can choose which activity they wish
to do each afternoon!

CROSS KEYS
Cross Keys has a fun and friendly atmosphere which provides the perfect environment for every child to thrive doing the activity they love most! We are different because we:
- Enable any child over six to specialise in art, drama or sport for a week at a time as well as providing a fun and cosy apprentice group for four to five year olds.
- Allow senior managers to get involved in activity sessions and running groups so we can make sure camp is perfect from the ground up.
- Make it easy for you to talk to the people who are in charge so you can chat, we can listen, and together ensure that children feel happy and relaxed throughout each action-packed day.
- Have received fantastic feedback from our last OFSTED inspection and continue to work in partnership with them to provide the best service possible
Christ’s College is a great location for Cross Keys because it has:
- A fully equipped, purpose-built drama hall
- A huge sports hall
- Massive playing fields
- Outdoor basketball, tennis and 5-a-side courts
- A fantastic, fully equipped art room
- A cosy room full of toys & fun equipment for our Apprentice
group
- A communal hall in which the whole camp can gather for meal
times
- A car park enabling parents to drive right up to front door
