Mini Minors Easter and Summer holiday activity camp blog

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

Welcome to our Mini Minors blog.

Our first blog explains why we believe Mini Minors is the best run and most exciting day camp in North London.

  • We maintain a fun, caring and friendly atmosphere in everything we do.
  • We believe that communication between parents and staff is essential in making sure we provide the best possible service for you and your child.
  • The management and the rest of the staff team are always willing to chat and listen to the needs of you and your child.
  • Our highly motivated staff are there to make sure your child feels happy and relaxed throughout each action-packed day.
  • We work tirelessly all year round to make sure we have the best activities, entertainers, and equipment possible to inspire and enthral your child.
  • We budget huge figures to invest in new activities and equipment each year.

We believe that when it comes to your child a personal service and people who know what they are talking about is essential for your peace of mind. When you call our office you will always talk to someone who knows our camp inside out.

Our Staff
We strive to hire the best possible leaders for our camps! Our Mini Minors staff are a dynamic, passionate and a highly skilled team. Many of our leaders come back year after year. All our staff have to go through a stringent application and screening process followed by a rigorous group interview and for those who make the grade full training is given before camp starts each season.

Coming with Friends?
Lots of children come to Mini Minors on their own and make lots of new friends at camp.
If, however, your child wants to be with a friend that falls into the same age group, we will do our very best to make sure they are together. All you need to do is make sure you give us up to 2 friends’ names when you book.

XUK summer residential camp blog

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

Welcome to our XUK residential camp blog.

XUK residential activity camp offers multi-activities for boys and girls from 6 – 17 years old. Children and teens spend between one and four weeks of their summer holidays at XUK, joining one of our three groups – Juniors, Intermediates or Teens.

Staying in the beautiful grounds of the New Eccles Hall School, your child will enjoy a range of adventurous, creative and lively activities as well as ‘off-site’ visits to Cambridge or Bury St. Edmonds. Our ‘optional extras’ allow each family to tailor make their camp experience with their choice of activities!

An enthusiastic and dynamic staff team makes XUK an exceptional holiday camp. With a constant flow of innovative ideas and strong sense of fun they make sure each child and every teen have the best summer ever!

OFSTED inspected XUK in 2008 and rated us as an ‘outstanding’ providor. This is a great achievement and not easy for a uk activity camp to get as we only run for 4 weeks per year!!

Please feel free to comment and enjoy our interesting and informative pages.
