Now I bet you are wondering what we get up to in the XUK office after we have finished running our Summer holiday camps.

Well, since returning back to the office after Summer 2014 there was no time to kick our feet up and relax with a brew – ok maybe we did have a well-deserved cup of tea. But there was still so much to do and to organise after camp. Thankfully we were still full of energy and pumped from the camp vibes at our English and Summer camps that we were already eager to jump into office work and to organise our next day camp for kids in October half term.

Our first initial days in the office were spent organising our Summer activity equipment, our children and teens lost property, answering parents and children’s queries as well as finalising bookings and staffing. Whilst tying up the loose ends of Summer, we introduced a new member of staff, Annie, into the office. Annie worked for the first time at XUK English this Summer as an activity and dorm leader and now she is our Marketing and Office Manager at XUK headquarters!

By the time we had completed these tasks and welcomed Annie into the office, September had already passed, Autumn had settled in and we were leading up to our October half term day camp. Although not forgetting our awesome summer antics, we were entirely focused on creating another successful and action-packed day camp for our 6-13 year old children!

We spent many days in the office building our quality kids camp by organising our returning and experienced staff members, preparing high quality activities for kids in our art, drama and sport academies, talking to parents about camp life and taking even more bookings for October half term!! A very important task was to spread the word about our camps to all parents and children in London! Our London October half term camp was a fantastic week filled with talented children and teens across all academies.

As October half term finished, we had no time to rest (but this is what we like best). Our main priority was to read our parents feedback across our Activity and English Summer Camp and Day Camps and to create our new brochures for 2015. We love to hear our parent’s voices in order to learn how we can improve our camps accordingly for school holidays in 2015 and to ensure that your kids have a holiday of their lifetime. After much discussion, we have ensured that our parent’s suggestions have been put in place and due to popular demand, we have extended our English Summer School to 6 weeks !

We also put much work into our 2015 brochures and we are now delighted to share them with our parents, kids and teens! Check out our Summer Camp, English School and London Kids Day Camp brochures. Be sure to see if you have featured in our brochures – you are famous!

As you can see life at XUK office is forever busy – but this is how we love to work and we are filled with excitement at the opportunity of building and continually improving our summer and day camps for your children. We are already taking bookings from all over the world, talking to our returning campers and even talking to new campers that have never been to XUK before – we are very excited to meet them and give them an XUK introduction to camp life!

See you in 2015…
