We’ve used almost an entire box of tissues today with all the farewells to our lovely campers from Week 2! It was such a fabulous week that we just didn’t want it to end.
It’s day 3 of our 2010 summer camp and if the first few days are anything to go by, this year is going to be cracker!!
Our children have had an opportunity to try quad biking, bake cupcakes and even have a go at some fencing which could prove a useful skill with tonights Wide Game involving pirates trying to capture XUK! We’ve been to play laser quest and visited the university town of Cambridge as well and as if that’s not enough, we are now getting ready to go to the USA theme park tomorrow.
Our amazing staff team are as enthusiastic as ever and coming up with new activities and ideas to keep everyone entertained!
Oh, and we can’t forget the English language lessons – the international children at camp have learnt new vocabulary and did their own special treasure hunt around Cambridge today, we’re so excited to start seeing their progress in front of our very eyes.
Week 2 has kicked off and we can not be more excited by our wig wam camp. We had 30 children/teens and 6 staff in the wig wams yesterday and they all celebrated their first night at XUK with a camp fire!
