XUK West End Shows Summer 2015

In the camp office we are working hard to organise the best summer of your life! We have so much exciting news to share with you; from the activities we have planned to the trips that we will be going on. To get you really buzzing for XUK Activity camp we will be making an official announcement about the West End shows that we will be going to see on our London trips, week 1, 3 and 5. We hope you are as excited as we are!!

London is a cultural, historical and vibrant city in the heart of England. There is so much to do in London, from sight-seeing, to relaxing in the beautiful parks to dressing up and watching a West End show – this is why we love to take our children at camp! London’s West End shows are famous worldwide and are always a must see, especially if your children want to completely absorb themselves and fully experience the London feel! London’s West End shows are extremely popular amongst tourists and even amongst the locals that live in the big city. From musicals, to drama, to thriller, the West End shows will give you all you ever want from an evening and more!

Our XUK Activity camp children get the opportunity to see a West End show in our London optional extra. After a day of sight-seeing and shopping, we finish our day by relaxing in front of a show – you don’t do this every day! It is a unique experience that we love to share with our camp children!

So drum roll please…

The West End shows that our children at camp will be going to see are:

• Week 1: Matilda
• Week 3: STOMP
• Week 5: Billy Elliot

Matilda the Musical , inspired by the book by Roald Dahl, has been a London West End show since October 2011. The West End show has won numerous amounts of awards, including the best musical award and best actor award. It has also won 7 Laurence Olivier awards in February 2012 (a world record!!!!) This is one of our favourite West End shows and we are sure our children at camp will love it!

STOMP is a multi-award winning West End show that has been running in London for 12 years! The West End show entertains its audience through the use of rhythm, comedy and dance. This show will definitely get our camp children on their feet!

Billy Elliot is another award winning West End show in London that has been seen by 9.5million people worldwide! The musical has a captivating and inspirational story line that follows a young boy’s journey and struggles to make his dream come true. This is a must see for our children at camp and a unique experience.

Our London optional extra is a fantastic experience for our children at camp. If your children have always wanted to explore London and watch a West End show, we highly recommend that you add the London experience as an optional extra to your holiday at XUK Activity camp.
