I think you might be pleased to know how much Michael likes the activities at the XUK Summer Camp. You and your staff have set up a really nice summer camp, and I really don't know how you could organize full fun days for such a large range of age groups

Travelling From Overseas?

Last year we had children from America, Spain, France, Italy, Russia and as far as Japan.

We understand why you are sending your child or teen to XUK. You want them to have fun and be safe in a different country, experiencing different activities and tasting the English culture. You may also want them to improve their English.

We have considerable experience hosting children from abroad. In the past few years we have concentrated in making XUK an international brand and this culminates in having a diverse XUK where children can meet those from different areas and backgrounds.

Language

We believe that the best way to improve your English is to immerse yourself in the English culture rather than in a typical classroom setting. This way, all children can enjoy what they are doing, make the most of their time and naturally learn the language. We encourage all children to speak English throughout their time at camp and to mix with other English children and staff over their summer at XUK.

Airport/Train collection

We organise collection from all major airports and train stations in South East England. We meet your child at the gate and take them to camp where we’ll do everything possible to help them settle in. On departure we take them to the appropriate airport, check them in and make sure they get home safely!

Trips

Wednesday Trip

We make sure that your child makes the most of their time in England. We include a weekly trip to Cambridge, Norwich or Bury St Edmunds, so if they’re at camp for three weeks they’ll get to all three places! Our Wednesday trip is a great chance for children to have a trip off site, choose what they’d like to do for the day, and get to taste a bit more of the English Culture (and shops!!).

London Trip

This optional extra, designed especially for our visitors from abroad, is a chance to see the big sites of London and a West End show. This has been amazingly popular in the past few years and is best for teens and intermediates.

The 2012 shows (subject to change) are Lion King and Mama Mia!! And we just can't wait!!!!

Gold service

We know that travelling abroad can be expensive. So, we have designed a package to make XUK as affordable as possible. The 'Gold Service' is the easiest, cheapest and best way to book two weeks with all the extras. We have two gold service options for our international visitors:

International Gold**

  • Two consecutive weeks at XUK
  • *4 optional extras (excluding London trip)
  • Transport to and from the airport or train station

Capital Gold**

  • Two consecutive weeks at XUK
  • *4 optional extras London Trip - a day trip to London to see the sites and a West End show!
  • Transport to and from the airport or train station

**Additional discounts (eg: block and early booking) do NOT apply to the Gold service. This is a heavily discounted package price.
